Our villa with swimming pool is located in Ruskamen, just 200 meters from the sea and 5 kilometers from Omiš. Villa Mate is a modern house with five comfortable apartments. All apartments offer sea views, air conditioning, satellite TV, and a shower/toilet. They also feature fully equipped kitchens with dishes and cutlery, a stove, toaster, microwave, and filter coffee machine.
Apartments 1–4: Balcony with sea view
Apartment 5: Directly in front of the apartment is a small private area with a table and chairs. The terrace is shared by all guests, but still offers you space to relax outdoors.
Each apartment has its own parking space directly in front of the door (one vehicle per apartment). A second vehicle can be parked by prior arrangement and is subject to a fee.
A stone oven grill is available for your use. If you don't feel like cooking, you can treat yourself to a meal at the award-winning restaurant "Ljetni San," just 50 meters away.

Omiš: A historic old town with narrow streets and charming squares. Famous for its traditional Klapa singing. Several times a season, free open-air concerts take place on the beach. The combination of town, nature, and music makes Omiš an unforgettable destination – easily accessible for a visit or an evening stroll thanks to its proximity to Villa Mate.
In the region you will find many cozy konobas - traditional Croatian taverns where you can enjoy local specialties such as fresh fish, seafood or Dalmatian appetizers in a relaxed, family atmosphere.
Konobas are characterized by their regional cuisine, personal hospitality and often a magnificent view of the sea or mountains.
Numerous boat trips or ferries to the nearby islands are offered, ideal for day or half-day excursions.

Villa Mate is also only about an hour's drive from the border with Bosnia and Herzegovina. A day trip to Mostar is particularly worthwhile – there you can visit the world-famous Stari Most bridge and experience the city's eventful history.
Alternatively, you can travel along the railway line, which has been awarded by the ADAC as one of the most beautiful train routes in Europe, running from Mostar to Sarajevo and offering impressive landscapes.

Wir waren im August 2025 für 3 Wochen bei der Villa Mate. Die Appartements sind Top ausgestattet und sehr sauber (es fehlt an nichts). Die Familie Petrovic ist sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und würden wieder die Villa Mate buchen.
Super nette und zuvorkommende Vermieter, tolles Haus mit allem was man im Urlaub braucht. 10 Minuten zu Fuß zum Strand (bergab/bergauf). Ruhige Lage, gut zum Abschalten und Entspannen. Wir waren rundum zufrieden.
Ich habe das Vergnügen mehrmals im Kroatien gewesen zu sein und immer im Villa Mate, dieses Jahr ebenfalls. Die Besitzer einfach wundervolle Menschen herzlich, liebevoll, freutdlich wie Familie man fühlt sich einfach wohl. Die Apartments sehr schön sehr sauber kan ich nur empfehlen. Die Lage super geeignet auch für Kinder. Der Pool ein traum ich zähle schon die Tage zu Urlaub dieses Jahr.
