Collection and Processing of Personal Data

We process personal data of our guests transmitted during bookings via platforms such as Smoobu, Booking.com, or Airbnb. This is done for the purpose of booking confirmation, invoice issuance, and legal reporting to the eVisitor system in Croatia.

Examples of data processed may include:
  • Name, first name, address (street, city, country)
  • Contact details (email, phone)
  • Booking details (travel period, property, scope of services)
  • If applicable, data for legal reporting (e.g., date of birth, nationality, ID/passport number)

Legal Basis
The processing of personal data is carried out to fulfill contractual obligations from the accommodation agreement (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR) and to comply with legal obligations arising from the tourist registration (eVisitor) in Croatia (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR).

Recipients of Data

Recipients of personal data are:
  • Us as accommodation providers
  • Authorities of the Republic of Croatia (e.g., eVisitor / Tourism Office)

Storage Period
We store personal data only as long as required for the purposes mentioned or as legally required. Data used for tourist registration via eVisitor must be retained for up to 10 years under Croatian law.

Rights of Data Subjects

 You have the right to access the data we process (Art. 15 GDPR), correction (Art. 16 GDPR), deletion or restriction of processing (Art. 17, 18 GDPR), data portability (Art. 20 GDPR), objection to processing (Art. 21 GDPR), and complaint to a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR).
